Rooted in physics.
Driven by a vision for transformative intelligence.

From NIST to Great Sky:
A Decade in the Making
Great Sky began at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, America's national laboratory in Boulder, Colorado. For over a decade, the team developed, tested, and refined the core technology, supported by NIST's world-class facilities and research mandate. Great Sky was founded in late 2024 with the mission to harnesses the power of physics to build era-defining computational intelligence.
Great Sky envisions a future where AI is unencumbered by legacy computing: powerful enough to appreciate every individual, continuously adaptive to integrate collective wisdom, and so efficient it spans the globe without straining resources.
Meet the Team
The best technology in the world means nothing without the right people to build and guide it. We recruit for values alignment as much as technical excellence.
